Company Admin Guide

How to Use Your Company Admin Dashboard

A complete walkthrough of every tab, how leads and claiming work, and how to keep your profile in top shape.

📌 Cost Insights
  • Your Services tab directly controls which searches and leads you're matched to — keep it current.
  • Area-wide leads show limited info until you claim them, which deducts your listed cost and unlocks full contact details.
  • Up to 4 companies can claim the same area-wide lead.
  • Keeping a healthy credit balance means you're never blocked from claiming a good lead the moment it arrives.

Logging in

Once your application to advertise has been approved and activated, log in at the Log In link in the site header with the email and password you were given. You'll land on your Company Admin dashboard, which is organized into a set of tabs covering every part of managing your presence on the site.

Profile tab

This is where your public-facing information lives — company name, contact details, address, logos, and your description. Two logo fields matter here: your Profile Logo (shown on your full profile page) and your Listing Logo (the smaller image shown on search results and listing cards). Your description field supports rich formatting, including custom HTML if you want more control over how it looks. This is often the first thing a homeowner sees about your company, so it's worth investing time in a clear, complete profile.

Promotions tab

You can highlight up to four promotions on your profile — things like a seasonal discount, a first-time-customer offer, or a financing promotion. Each one can include an image and a short title. Promotions are one of the easiest ways to stand out on a crowded search results page, so it's worth keeping at least one or two active at all times.

Gallery tab

Upload photos of completed jobs here. A strong gallery is one of the highest-impact things you can add to your profile — home owners want to see real examples of your work before reaching out, and profiles with more photos consistently see more engagement than those without.

Services tab

Select every service you actually offer. This directly controls which searches you show up in and which leads you receive — if a service isn't checked here, you won't be matched to homeowners searching for it, even if you're fully capable of doing that work. Review this tab periodically, especially if you add a new service line to your business.

Advertising Areas tab

This tab shows the counties you're currently approved to advertise in. It's read-only from your side — if you'd like to add or change your advertising areas, contact Main Admin directly to discuss expanding your coverage.

Billing tab: credit balance & adding credit

Your credit balance is what gets used when you claim a lead. You can view your current balance and transaction history here, and add credit to your account as needed. Keeping a healthy balance means you're never blocked from claiming a good lead when it comes in — a common mistake is letting the balance run low and missing a strong lead as a result.

Leads tab: how claiming works

This is the core of the dashboard. Area-wide leads (sent to every company that offers the matching service in that county) show limited information — homeowner's first name and general location — until you claim the lead. Claiming deducts the listed cost from your credit balance and unlocks the homeowner's full contact info, address, and job details.

  • Up to 4 companies can claim the same area-wide lead — the tab shows how many have already claimed it
  • Direct leads (a homeowner who requested a quote from your profile specifically) show full details immediately, no claim needed
  • You can forward any unlocked lead's details to an email address, like a sales person, directly from the lead's detail view
  • Update each lead's status (New, Viewed, Meeting Scheduled, Sold, etc.) to keep your own pipeline organized

Messages tab

Any messages from Main Admin appear here — useful for account notices or direct communication outside of the standard lead flow.

Account tab

Change your login email or password here at any time. We'd recommend updating the default password you were given the first time you log in, and using a unique password you don't reuse elsewhere.

How to Save Money

  • Respond to new leads quickly — homeowners on area-wide leads often go with whichever company reaches out first
  • Keep your profile complete (photos, promotions, description) since it directly affects how many homeowners choose to reach out to you specifically via a direct lead, which never requires claiming
  • Review your Services tab whenever you add a new capability, so you don't miss matching leads
💡 Pro Tip: Keep your Services tab and your credit balance up to date — the two most common reasons a company misses good leads are an unchecked service they actually offer, and a balance too low to claim a lead when it matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between an area-wide lead and a direct lead?
An area-wide lead is sent to every matching company in the county and requires claiming to see full details; a direct lead comes from a homeowner who requested a quote from your profile specifically, and shows full details immediately at no claim cost.
What happens if I run out of credit balance?
You won't be able to claim new area-wide leads until you add more credit — direct leads are unaffected since they don't require claiming.
Can more than one company claim the same lead?
Yes, up to 4 companies can claim the same area-wide lead, so responding quickly is worth prioritizing.
